When we look to the cross, we often dwell on the physical suffering of Jesus, but the true power was ignited in the Garden of Gethsemane. It was there, in quiet agony, that Jesus uttered the words that changed everything: "Not my will, but Yours be done." This was the ultimate act of surrender, a full yielding to the Father’s plan. And this is the same surrender Jesus calls us to daily: laying down our will, desires, and plans so that His greater purpose can unfold in us.
When we allow God into every corner of our lives, not just the convenient ones, we unlock the transformative power of His presence.
God doesn’t desire weekend visits; He longs to be the Lord of our everyday lives, guiding us through the ordinary and the extraordinary. His plans aren’t generic; they’re personal, tailored to each heart that says “yes” to Him. When we allow God into every corner of our lives, not just the convenient ones, we unlock the transformative power of His presence. In surrender, we don’t lose, we live. And our lives become living stories of His grace, beauty, and unfailing love.
