In a world that seeks to silence God while amplifying darkness, believers in Christ must stand boldly. From humanity’s fall, calling upon the Lord was our first miracle, led by Pastor Seth (Gen 4:26), whose righteousness overshadowed Cain’s rebellion. This act was more than a cry; it was a declaration of faith, rewriting history with righteousness. Today, we must continue this legacy, to proclaim God’s truth and to refuse to let God’s name be erased.

Calling upon the Lord is both surrender and power. It marks you as a beacon of light, signalling to heaven and earth of your readiness for righteousness.

Calling upon the Lord is both surrender and power. It marks you as a beacon of light, signalling to heaven and earth of your readiness for righteousness. Pride resists this call, but trust embraces it. Even in the parable of the prodigal son, the elder brother’s failure to ask (for his inheritance) mirrors the lost coin earlier told by Jesus in Luke 15. The lost coin can be seen to be blessings unseen in the “house/presence of God,” yet within reach once you have a change of attitude and heart. May you awaken to your full inheritance in Christ and boldly claim your identity in Him!

CONFESSION

I will call upon the Lord; he is worthy to be praised. So shall I be saved from all my enemies and challenges.
