Just as machines need software to make them run optimally, we humans, created in the image and likeness of God, need God’s anointing to activate our purpose. The anointing empowers us to excel in every role we fulfil, from parenting to being a leader (of a company, group, or country), reminding us that our abilities originate from Him. While God’s greatness remains unchanged, we wholly depend on His empowering presence to thrive. Everything good and perfect comes from God. He gives to all humankind unconditionally. But we will be more fulfilled when we submit to the anointing.
