As a disciple of Jesus Christ, you have surrendered your life to His mastery, giving Him free rein to shape and mold you. This means surrendering your desires, choices, finances, family, and every aspect of your being to His Lordship. But have you stopped to consider the daily instructions He has for you? What adjustments are you making to align your life with His will? What sacrifices are you willing to make, what habits are you willing to break, and what temptations are you willing to resist because you have chosen to follow Him?

As a disciple of Jesus Christ.… This means surrendering your desires, choices, finances, family, and every aspect of your being to His Lordship.

If following Jesus Christ hasn't required you to make some changes, to deny yourself some pleasures, or to take up the cross daily, then perhaps He is only your Savior, not yet your Lord. Remember, only those who acknowledge Him as Lord will reign with Him forever. God is God to all, but not a Father to all. So, build your relationship with Him, cultivate loyalty, and surrender to His mastery. Let Him shape you into the disciple He desires you to be and experience the transformative power of His lordship in your life.

CONFESSION
