Before the Israelites departed Egypt or encamped at Jericho, Rahab’s life was defined by deep reflection and a yearning for change. Despite her position as a marginalized woman and a prostitute, she chose faith in the God of Israel, risking everything to align with His purpose. Her courage secured her place in Israel’s triumph and wove her into the lineage of Jesus Christ, demonstrating the redemptive power of grace and the transformative impact of unwavering belief.

In every age, believers face the challenge of choosing between the seen and the unseen. Alluring yet fleeting, the visible world often obscures the eternal truths of God’s promises. Like Rahab, we are called to fix our eyes on the unseen—the enduring and abundant blessings accessible through faith in Christ. Through meditative trust and steadfast hope, we can also lay hold of the life-changing power God offers to all who believe.
